Obituary for Joseph J. Quinn, Sr.
JOSEPH J. QUINN, SR., 71, of Jackson Twp., NJ, beloved husband, father, and pop, passed away on Tuesday, December 18, 2018, at home. He was born in Neptune, NJ, and resided in Freehold, NJ, prior to settling in Jackson Twp., 40 years ago.
Joseph was employed as a Truck Driver for Clayton Concrete, Lakewood, NJ, for 34 years prior to his retirement in March of 2011.
He was predeceased by his parents, Frank and Loretta Quinn. Joseph is survived by his wife of 40 years, June Quinn of Jackson Twp.; his sons, Joseph Quinn, Jr., and his wife, Maggie of Jackson Twp., and Kevin Quinn of Jackson Twp.; his daughter, Sharlene Parze and her husband, Ed of Freehold, NJ; his 2 grandsons, Parker and Colton; his 4 granddaughters; and by his brother, Jim Quinn of Freehold, NJ.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his visitation from 2-5:30 PM followed by his Funeral Service at 5:30 PM on Saturday, December 22, 2018, at the GEORGE S. HASSLER FUNERAL HOME, 980 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ 08527. A private cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made in Joseph’s memory to Kindred Hospice, 242 Old New Brunswick Rd., Suite 140, Piscataway, NJ 08854 www.kindredhealthcare.com and would be greatly appreciated.
