Obituary for Theresa Behan (Hasson)
THERESA BEHAN, 83, of Jackson Twp., NJ, passed away on Friday, December 7, 2018 at Sunrise Assisted Living in Jackson Twp. She was born in New York City, had resided in
Ho-Ho-Kus, for many years before settling in Jackson Twp. in 2005.
Theresa worked as an administrative assistant in Ho-Ho-Kus for many years, retiring in 1986 and was a communicant of St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church in Jackson Twp.
Theresa was predeceased by her parents, James and Catherine Hasson, her sister, Kathleen Larson and by her husband, Michael Behan in 2013. She is survived by her daughter, Anne Merry and her husband, Chris of Midlothian, VA; her sons, James Behan of Carrollton, TX, Michael Behan and his wife, Jane of Edison, NJ and Kevin Behan and his wife, Doreen of Secaucus, NJ; her grandchildren Matthew, Stephanie, Aiden, Emily and Patrick; her sister, Maureen Kalb of Jackson Twp., NJ; and by her brothers, James Hasson of Woodbridge Twp., NJ and Patrick Hasson of Maywood, NJ.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her visitation on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 from 2-4 PM & 7-9 PM at The GEORGE S. HASSLER FUNERAL HOME, 980 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ. A funeral gathering will be offered on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at 8:30 AM at the funeral home. Her Funeral Liturgy will follow at 9:30 AM at St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, 935 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ. Entombment will follow in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, Massachusetts Ave., Lakewood Twp., NJ.
