ANTONIO J. “TONY” GOUVEIA, 84, of Jackson Twp. NJ, passed away on Saturday, September 15, 2018, at Ocean Medical Center, Brick, NJ. Tony was born in Passaic, NJ, and resided in Clifton, NJ, before settling in Jackson Twp., 55 years ago.
Tony was employed as a maintenance man for the Jackson Twp. Board of Education for 31 years prior to his retirement in 1997.
Antonio was predeceased by his parents, Manuel & Maria Gouveia; and by his wife of 59 years, Arlene Gouveia. He is survived by his children, Glen Gouveia of Jackson Twp. NJ, Lloyd Gouveia of Fort Maddison, Iowa, Darren Gouveia of Lucasville, Ohio, and Toni Linke of Mooresville, NC; and by his 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
