Obituary for Wolfgang Kuehn

Wolfgang  Kuehn
WOLFGANG KUEHN, age 83, of Jackson Twp., NJ passed away at home on Saturday, February 10, 2018. Mr. Kuehn was born in Zeitz, Germany, had lived in Howell Twp. for 15 years before settling in Jackson Twp. 35 years ago.
Wolfgang worked for the 3M Corporation in Freehold, NJ as a tool and die maker for 25 years, retiring in March of 1996.
Wolfgang was very proud of his heritage and was a true nature lover. He was a member of the Central Jersey Beekeepers Association where he won numerous awards for his honey and bees wax candles.
In addition, Wolfgang was an avid traveler in his younger years where he enjoyed mountain climbing and spelunking and continued traveling the world all through his life. He also enjoyed collecting coins and stamps and was an avid gardener.
Wolfgang was predeceased by his parents, Heinz and Anna Kuhn and by his wife, Elfriede in 1996. He is survived by his son, Ruediger Kuehn of Germany; his daughters, Angelika Kuehn and Sieglinde Kuehn both of Jackson Twp., NJ; and by his grandchildren, Nicholas, Tanya, Kelly, Joseph and Julie.
Friends are respectfully invited to attend his memorial visitation on Thursday, February 22, 2018 from 6-8 PM followed with is funeral service at 8 PM at The George S. Hassler Funeral Home, 980 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ. A private inurnment will be held at the convenience of the family. If so desired, memorial contributions may be made in Wolfgang’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Association of New Jersey, 425 Eagle Rock Avenue, Suite 203, Roseland, NJ 07068, www.alz.org or to the American Heart and Stroke Association, 1 Union Street, Suite 301, Robbinsville, NJ 08691, www.americanheart.org and would be greatly appreciated.
