Anthony J.  DeCesare
ANTHONY J. DeCESARE, 82, of Jackson Twp., NJ, passed away on Friday, February 2, 2018, at CareOne of Jackson, Jackson Twp., NJ. He was born in New York City, NY, and resided in Staten Island, NY, prior to settling in Jackson Twp., 17 years ago.
Anthony was a United States Army Veteran serving during the Lebanon Crisis.
He retired from Merrill Lynch where he worked as a printer.
Anthony was predeceased by his Wife of 53 years, Theresa DeCesare in 2016. He is survived by his Sons, John DeCesare and his Wife, Lynn of Jackson Twp., NJ, and Joseph DeCesare of New York; his Daughter, Staci DeCesare and her Husband, Peter Sciolto of Jackson Twp., NJ; and by his 7 Grandchildren, Anthony, Joey, Dylan, John, Cole, Lorren, and Peter.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his visitation from 2-4 & 6-8 PM on Monday, February 5, 2018, at the GEORGE S. HASSLER FUNERAL HOME, 980 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ 08527. His Funeral Liturgy will be offered at 9:30 AM on Tuesday, February 6, 2018, at St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, 935 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ. Please gather at 9:15 AM at the Church. Interment with Military Honors will follow in Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 350 Province Line Rd., Arneytown, NJ 08562. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Anthony’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942 and would be greatly appreciated.
