Nancy J. Apgar (Geotchius)
NANCY J. APGAR, 78, of Jackson Twp., NJ, passed away on Tuesday, January 30, 2018, at home. She was born in Irvington, NJ, and resided in Howell Twp., NJ, prior to settling in Jackson Twp., 14 years ago.
Nancy was employed as a Bus Driver for the Jackson Township Board of Education for 31 years prior to her retirement in 2005.
She was predeceased by her Parents, Charles Frances and Mildred Geotchius; and by her Sons, Doug and Terry. Nancy is survived by her Husband of 39 years, Robert Apgar of Jackson Twp.; her Sons, Jimmy of Brick Twp., NJ, and Maynard of Toms River, NJ; her 12 Grandchildren; her 3 Great grandchildren; and by her Brother, Eddie Geotchius of Brick Twp., NJ.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her visitation from 4-7:30 PM followed by her Funeral Service at 7:30 PM on Friday, February 2, 2018, at the GEORGE S. HASSLER FUNERAL HOME, 980 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ 08527. A private cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Nancy’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Association, Central New Jersey Chapter, 400 Morris Avenue, Suite 251, Denville, NJ 07834-1365 www.alz.org and would be greatly appreciated.
