JOYCE PACELLI, 56, of Jackson Twp., NJ, passed away on Sunday, October 15, 2017, at the Cancer Treatment Center of America, Philadelphia, PA. She was born in Brooklyn, NY, and resided in Howell Twp., NJ, prior to settling in Jackson Twp., NJ, 21 years ago.
Joyce was employed by the Jackson Township Board of Education where she worked as a Social Studies Teacher at Goetz Middle School for 20 years prior to her retirement in February of 2017.
She attended Brooklyn College, Brooklyn, NY, and Georgian Court University, Lakewood, NJ, where she received her Master’s Degree.
Joyce was a communicant of St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, Jackson Twp., NJ.
She enjoyed Broadway shows, going to concerts, and spending time with her family and friends.
Joyce was predeceased by her Parents, Janice and Frank Daniel. She is survived by her Husband, Christopher Pacelli; her Son, Joseph Pacelli and his Wife, Janet of Bloomington, IN; her Daughter, Danielle (Pacelli) Lehnert and her Husband, Douglas of Cookstown, NJ; and by her Sisters, Ilene Daniel and her Fiancé Liam O’Hare, and Gwen Perrone and her Husband, Tom.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her Memorial Mass at 9:30 AM on Friday, October 20, 2017, at St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, 935 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson, Twp., NJ 08527. Please gather at 9:15 AM at the church. If so desired, contributions may be made in Joyce’s memory to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105-1942 and would be greatly appreciated.
