Obituary for John Joseph Esposito

JOHN JOSEPH ESPOSITO, 76, of Manchester Twp., NJ, passed away on Saturday, June 4, 2016, at home. He was born in Manhattan, NY, and resided in Jackson Twp., NJ, before moving to Manchester 8 years ago.
John’s career started in Information Technology in Manhattan in 1963, writing computer code for various companies during the infancy of the digital revolution. His work in the computer field continued until 1987, at which time his entrepreneurial spirit inspired him to open a successful dry cleaning business with his wife. John retired in 2012 after working at Vonage.
He was a member of the Italian American Club, the Magic Club, and the VFW.
John was predeceased by his parents, Giuseppe and Rosina Esposito. He is survived by his Wife of 53 years, Mary Jane Esposito; his Son, John J. Esposito and his Wife, Tara of Farmingdale, NJ; his Daughters, Renee Millemann and her Husband, Mike of Toms River, NJ, and Rose LaPiere-Harvey and her Husband, Keith of Jackson, NJ; his Brother, Vincent Esposito and his Wife, Marie of Pt. Pleasant, NJ; and by his Grandchildren, Olivia, Isabella, Vincent, Michael, Samantha, Nicole, Gabriel, and Lucas John.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his visitation on Thursday, June 9, 2016, from 4-8 PM at the GEORGE S. HASSLER FUNERAL HOME, 980 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ 08527. A funeral gathering will be offered at 9:15 AM on Friday, June 10, 2016, at the funeral home. His Funeral Liturgy will follow at 10:30 AM at St. Mary of the Lake Roman Catholic Church, 43 Madison Ave., Lakewood, NJ. Interment to follow in Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 350 Provinceline Rd., Arneytown, NJ. Contributions may be made in John’s memory to Your Favorite Charity.
