Obituary for Christopher D. Johnson

Christopher D.  Johnson
CHRISTOPHER D. JOHNSON, 55, born November 1, 1960, passed away November 15, 2015, at Whiting Healthcare, Whiting, NJ, Born in Staten Island, NY, he lived most of his life in Jackson, NJ, before residing at Whiting Healthcare for the past year.
He served as a former vice-president and was a lifetime member of the Whitesville Volunteer Fire Company (Station 57) in Jackson. He worked for the Freehold Township Recreation Department in the maintenance department for 23 years, retiring in 2011.
Christopher was a kind, loving soul with a huge heart and enormous sense of humor and sarcasm. He was a lover of all animals and loved bowling, working at the Lakewood Blue Claws, and visiting Hawaii and Disney World.
He was predeceased by his mother, Catherine A. Johnson in 2013; his twin brother, Carl Johnson; and his brother, Donald Johnson. He is survived by his father, Charles D. Johnson of The Villages, FL; his sister, Amy Johnson-Gonzalez and her husband Steve Gonzalez of Myrtle Beach, SC; his sister, Catherine E. Johnson of Waretown, NJ; and his nephews, Kyle Webber and his wife Courtney, Kevin Webber, and Ryan Webber of Jackson, and Matthew Webber of Myrtle Beach, SC .
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his visitation on Wednesday, November 18, 2015, from 4-8 PM with his Funeral Service at 7:30 PM at the GEORGE S. HASSLER FUNERAL HOME, 980 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ 08527. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Christopher’s memory to the Whitesville Volunteer Fire Company (Station 57), 81 Hope Chapel Rd., Jackson, NJ 08527.
