MERLENE P. ‘PAT’ SLOAN, 75, of Jackson Twp., NJ passed away on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at her home. She was born in Hopkinton, Massachusettes, settling in Jackson Twp. 20 years ago.
Most recently, Pat worked for Gioia Sails in Lakewood Twp. as a seamstress for 5 years, retiring in 2006. Prior to that, she was a nurse’s aide for CentraState Medical Center in Freehold Twp. and Bartley Healthcare in Jackson Twp.
Pat was predeceased by her parents, Merle and Lurlene Braley, her daughter, Marguerite Horton and by her husband, Raymond Sloan. She is survived by her sons, Daniel Jackson and Gene Jackson and his wife, Jill; her daughter, Linda Marsala and her husband, Alfred; her grandchildren, Mark Miccio, Matthew Miccio, Christina Burns, Candice Jackson, Cynthia Horton and Joey Horton; her great grandchildren, Brandon, Chase and Olivia Miccio and Corey, Callie and Aubey Burns; and by her sisters, Francise Harris and Lurlene Brewer and her husband, Joe.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her graveside service on Friday, November 16, 2018 at 2:30 PM in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, East Pleasant Grove Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ.
