Condolence From: Terry Dorey Grubby
Condolence: My sincere condolences to you and your family. I used to work with your mother in law Maggie in the court house. I have always wondered what happened to her and your family. She always spoke highly of you and the kids. Again I am very sorry for your loss.

Condolence: Mary- Our most sincere condolences and a curse on alzheimers! Bill and I were section mates all four years. We met several times during our Lykes Bros. Sea ear. Once when he "talked" his way into a ride on the pilot boat to visit while we were both (he on the DOCTOR and I and John Manges on the AIMEE) anchored out, in what felt like-20F weather, in Inchon Harbor. We were room mates both 2nd and 1st Class years! Rooming with Bill was like being in the cast of "Saturday Night Live" every day for two years. One of our "joint vemtures" was delivering a "retired" New YorK Taxi Cab to its new owner in Omaha as a free Christmas vacation ride home. We overcame two blizzards and the Chicago Cops, who wanted to know what two KP Cadets were doing driving a New York Cab in Chicago, This became one of Bill's favorite stories that he repeated with embelishments every time we met at reunions. I expect that if we both make it through "Customs and immigration" at the Pearly Gates, Bill have a new version waiting! I loved him dearly...and by extension ...you, his family,as well! Best wishes, Paul and Marilyn Rogers '61
