Joseph Louis  Martorano
JOSEPH LOUIS MARTORANO, 89, of Jackson Twp., NJ, passed away on Monday, September 24, 2018, at home. He was born in Brooklyn, NY, and resided in Old Bridge, NJ, prior to settling in Jackson Twp., 12 years ago.
Joseph was a United States Army Veteran serving as a PFC during the Korean War.
He was employed as a Contract Administrator for the Department of Defense for 26 years prior to his retirement in 1992.
Joseph was a communicant of St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, Jackson Twp., NJ.
He was predeceased by his parents, Paul and Rose Martorano; his brothers, Frank and Andrew Martorano; and by his sister, Elizabeth Pancila. Joseph is survived by his wife, Antoinette; his daughters, Jayne Craig and her husband, Donald, Jeanne Delehanty and her husband, Richard, Janet Budge and her husband, Steven, and Judi Smith and her husband, Robert; his 10 grandchildren, Caryn, Lindsay, Megan, Richard, Kaitlyn, Jenna, Kristie, Amy, Tara, and Allyson; his 7 great grandchildren, Penelope, Daphne, Sophia, Joseph, Phoebe, Zoe, and Maia; his brother, Louis Martorano and his wife, Grace; and by his sisters, Frances Gannon and her husband, Jack, and Marianne Congo and her husband, George.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his visitation from 2-4 & 7-9 PM on Thursday, September 27, 2018, at the GEORGE S. HASSLER FUNERAL HOME, 980 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ 08527. A funeral gathering will be offered at 10:00 AM on Friday, September 28, 2018, at the funeral home. His Funeral Liturgy will follow at 11:00 AM at St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, 935 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ. If so desired, contributions may be made in Joseph’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis TN 38105-1942 and would be greatly appreciated.
