JOSEPHINE LIBERATORE, 84, of Jackson Twp., NJ, passed away on Tuesday, June 26, 2018, at home. She was born in San Benedetto in Perillis, Italy, and resided in Brooklyn, NY, prior to settling in Jackson Twp., 20 years ago.
Josephine was predeceased by her Parents, Domenico and Maria Fontana. She is survived by her Husband of 63 years, Giovanni of Jackson Twp.; her Daughter, Mary Tuohy and her Husband, Kevin of Manalapan, NJ; and by her Brother, Benedetto Fontana of AZ.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her visitation from 6-8 PM on Thursday, June 28, 2018, and from 2-4 & 6-8 PM on Friday, June 29, 2018, at the GEORGE S. HASSLER FUNERAL HOME, 980 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ 08527. A funeral gathering will be offered at 8:15 AM on Saturday, June 30, 2018, at the funeral home. Her Funeral Liturgy will follow at 9:30 AM at the Church of St. Veronica, 4215 Rt. 9 North, Howell, NJ 07731. Entombment will follow in St. Gabriel’s Cemetery, 549 Rt. 520, Marlboro, NJ 07746. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Josephine’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105-1942 and would be greatly appreciated.
