Obituary for Joseph Gangi
JOSEPH GANGI, 79, of Whiting, NJ, passed away Thursday, May 3, 2018, at home. Joseph was born in Brooklyn, NY, and resided in Jackson Township, NJ, prior to moving to Whiting, two months ago.
He was employed by Industrial Washing Machine Corporation in Matawan, NJ, and then became president prior to his retirement.
He was a communicant of St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, Jackson Township, NJ.
Joseph enjoyed fishing and was an avid baseball and football fan.
Joseph was predeceased by his Parents, William and Rose Gangi; and by his Brother Phillip Gangi. He is survived by his Wife, Linda E. (Preiss) Gangi; his Sons, Michael Gangi and his Wife, Laura, and Joseph Gangi; his Granddaughter, Kathy Gangi; his Sisters, Marie and Paula; and by his many Nieces and Nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his visitation from 1-5 PM on Monday, May 7, 2018, at the GEORGE S. HASSLER FUNERAL HOME, 980 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ. A funeral gathering will be offered at 8:30 AM on Tuesday, May 8, 2018, at the funeral home. His Funeral Liturgy will follow at 9:30 AM at St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, 935 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ. A private cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers please consider a Memorial Mass in Joseph’s honor. For directions, further information and to send condolence messages to the family, please select a tab on the left.
