Daniel  Miller
DANIEL MILLER, age 57, of Old Bridge Twp., NJ passed away on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at his sister-in-law’s home in Jackson Twp. Daniel was born in Passaic, NJ, had resided in Clifton, NJ before settling in Old Bridge Twp. 30 years ago.
Daniel most recently worked for Phillips 66 in Linden, NJ as the fleet manager and mechanic for 30 years, retiring in 2015. In addition, he previously worked for Exxon and Tosco-Phillips.
Daniel was a former captain of the Bayways Rescue Squad where he was considered as family. He also was a member of the NRA, the Old Bridge Rifle Club and the Raystown Hunting Club.
Daniel was predeceased by his parents, Bernard and Ada Miller, his brothers, Richard Miller and Robert Miller and his sister, Arlene Walker. He is survived by his daughter, Linda Miller; his sister-in-law, Sharon Miller; his brother-in-law, Allan Walker; his nieces and nephew, Kristy McKeown and her husband, Liam, Richie Miller, Valerie Krzywiec and her husband, Dedrick, Darlene Beldin and her husband, Lloyd and Lindy Imranyi and her husband, Tom; and by his great nieces and nephews, Rachel, Joshua, Lucas, Logan and Emily.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his visitation on Sunday, April 29, 2018 from 3-7 PM at the GEORGE S. HASSLER FUNERAL HOME, 980 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ. A funeral gathering will be offered on Monday, April 30, 2018 at 9:00 AM at the funeral home. His Funeral Ceremony will follow at 9:30 AM at the funeral home. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Honey Locust Drive, Lakewood Twp. NJ.
