CHRISTIAN BORK, age 91, of Howell Twp., NJ passed away on Friday, April 13, 2018 at Monmouth Medical Center, Southern Campus in Lakewood Twp. Christian was born in Brooklyn, NY, settling in Howell Twp. 25 years ago.
Christian worked for the DEP for the City of New York for 20 years, before retiring.
Christian proudly served as a Corporal in the United States Army during World War II. In addition, he was an avid fisherman.
Christian was predeceased by his parents, Theodore and Annetta Bork and by his wife, Ann Hannon Bork in 2017. He is survived by his step-children, Roseann and Lawrence Pasqualini, Barbara and William Browne and Robert Hannon; and by his 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his visitation on Monday, April 16, 2018 from 5-9 PM at The GEORGE S. HASSLER FUNERAL HOME. 980 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ. A funeral gathering will be offered at 9:30 AM with his Funeral Service at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at the funeral home. Entombment with Military Honors will follow at 11:30 AM in the chapel of Resurrection Cemetery, 361 Sharrott Ave., Staten Island, NY.
