MARGARET D. “PEGGY” IORIO, 76, of Jackson Twp., NJ, passed away on Wednesday, November 29, 2017, at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune, NJ. She was born in Jersey City, NJ, and resided in Wayside, NJ, prior to settling in Jackson Twp., 14 years ago.
Peggy was a former employee of New Jersey Bell and a member of the South Knolls Women’s Club in Jackson Twp.
She was a communicant of St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, Jackson Twp.
Peggy loved to travel and spend time with her family, especially with her grandsons.
Peggy was predeceased by her Parents, Thomas and Dorothy Giordano. She is survived by her Husband of 48 years, Vincent Iorio of Jackson Twp.; her Son, Thomas Iorio and his Wife, Ellen of Hamilton Sq., NJ; her Grandsons, Kyle and Chase Iorio; her Brothers-in-law and Sisters-in-law as well as her Nieces and Nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her visitation from 2-6 PM on Sunday, December 3, 2017, at the GEORGE S. HASSLER FUNERAL HOME, 980 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ. A funeral gathering will be offered at 8:30 AM on Monday, December 4, 2017, at the funeral home. Her Funeral Liturgy will follow at 9:30 AM at St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, 935 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, 340 Ridge Rd., North Arlington, NJ 07031.
