Obituary for Angela R. Tripodi (Casucci)
ANGELA TRIPODI peacefully passed away at her home in Jackson Twp., NJ, on Tuesday, November 21, 2017, at the age of 87.
She was born on October 6, 1930 in Bronx, NY, to her Parents, Constanza Forziati and Nicola Casucci. She graduated from Evander Childs High School, Bronx, NY, and soon started her career at Phillips Van-Heusen, where she met her future husband of 49 years. After raising a large family, Angela reentered the workplace with Chanel and retired in 1992.
Angela was a social, active woman who was deeply involved in church and community for the majority of her life. She enjoyed cooking and traveling. Her family and friends will always remember her as a generous, loving & caring person.
She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph L. Tripodi. They were married in Bronx, NY, on February 15, 1953.
Angela is lovingly remembered by her Daughter, Lisa Ann; her Sons, Joseph and his Wife, Constance, Gregory, and Geoffrey and his Wife, Nancy; and by her Grandchildren, Hannah, Alec, Nicholas, Noelle, Bryce, Natalie, and Daniel.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her visitation from 1-5 PM on Sunday, November 26, 2017, at the GEORGE S. HASSLER FUNERAL HOME, 980 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp. NJ 08527. A funeral gathering will be offered at 8:30 AM on Monday, November 27, 2017, at the funeral home. Her Funeral Liturgy will follow at 9:30 AM at St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, 935 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp. Entombment will follow privately. If so desired, contributions may be made in Angela’s memory to VNA Health Group, 176 Riverside Ave., Red Bank, NJ 07701 www.vnahg.org and would be greatly appreciated.
