Obituary for Josephine Stanberry (Bertolini)
JOSEPHINE STANBERRY. 91, of Jackson Twp., NJ passed away on Sunday, November 19, 2017 at CareOne in Jackson Twp. She was born in Jersey City, had resided in Sebastian, FL before settling in Jackson Twp. 3 years ago.
Josephine worked for the Sebastian (FL) School System as a school crossing guard for 20 years, before retiring.
Josephine was predeceased by her parents, Biogio and Antonetta Bertolini and by her husband of 61 years, James A. Stanberry, Sr. in 2005. She is survived by her children, James A. Stanberry, Jr., John J. Stanberry and Mary E. O’Brien; and by her 5 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her visitation on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 from 5-8 PM followed with her funeral service at 8:00 PM at The GEORGE S. HASSLER FUNERAL HOME, 980 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp. A private cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in the memory of Josephine to the Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, c/o Department of Military and Veterans Affairs, P.O. Box 340, Trenton, NJ 08625-0340, and would be greatly appreciated.
