Obituary for Mary Jo Torosian (Padavano)
MARY JO TOROSIAN, 55, of Jackson Twp., NJ passed away on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at Ocean Medical Center in Brick Twp., NJ. She was born in Brooklyn, NY, had resided on Staten Island, NY before settling in Jackson Twp. 27 years ago.
Mary Jo, along with her Husband, David were the owners of Damar Carpet Company in Jackson Twp. where she also served as executive secretary for 25 years.
Mary Jo is survived by her husband of 31 years, David; her children, Nicole Torosian and David Torosian; parents, Joseph and Paula Padavano; her sisters and brothers-in-law, Debbie and Frank Gallo and Diane and Joseph Harden; and by her nieces and nephews, Brittany Gallo, Alyssa Gallo, Joseph Harden, Nicholas Harden, Michael Reinhard and Melissa Reinhard.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her memorial visitation on Saturday, November 18, 2017 from 1-3 PM & 6-8 PM followed with her funeral service at 8:00 PM at The GEORGE S. HASSLER FUNERAL HOME, 980 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ 08527. If so desired, memorial contributions may be made in the memory of Mary Jo to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942, www.stjude.org/donate or to the ASPCA, 424 East 92nd St., New York City, NY 10128, www.aspca.org, and would be greatly appreciated.
