The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Dorothy Salvatore can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: I've known Dorothy Salvatore since at least 1970. She was my sister, Rita's mother-in-law. She outlived many of the people she loved and who loved her. She raised five smart, fun-to-be-with kids. My very sincere condolences to Lou,Steve and all of Dorothy's grandchildren,great-grandchildren and friends. Dorothy will be missed. She was a lovely person. RIP.

Condolence: I grew up with the Salvatore boys - Tom, Joe & Steve were such a part of the fabric of my life and in the background there was always Mrs. Salvatore, showing us love and encouragement and her special brand of home spun honesty. As an adult I look back at her life and the way she carried herself through losses that most can never imagine, and her faith guided her. On her weakest day, she was stronger and better than me on my best day. Rest in peace Mrs. Salvatore.
