CHERYL LEE BONOCORE, age 71, of Jackson Twp., NJ, passed away on Sunday, September 17, 2017, at her home. She was born in Brooklyn, NY, and had resided on Staten Island, NY, and in Freehold Twp., NJ, before settling in Jackson Twp. 27 years ago.
Cheryl was a homemaker, devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt.
She was predeceased by her Parents, Harold, Sr. and Hazel Trupp. She is survived by her Husband, Robert Bonocore; her Daughter, Jennifer-Jo Bonocore; her Son and Daughter-in-law, Dr. Ralph and Shannon Bonocore; her Grandchildren, Vincent, Joseph, Gracemarie, Alec and Dominic; her Sister and Brother-in-law, Dorothy and James Silvestri; her Brothers and Sisters-in-law, Matthew and Arlene Hanley, William and Kathy Hanley and Harold, Jr. and Shirley Trupp; her Sisters-in-law, Adele Bonocore, Ann Bonocore and Gloria Serapica; and by her numerous Nieces and Nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her visitation on Wednesday, September 20, 2017, from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at the GEORGE S. HASSLER FUNERAL HOME, 980 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ 08527. A funeral gathering will be offered on Thursday, September 21, 2017, at 8:30 AM at the funeral home. Her Funeral Liturgy will follow at 9:30 AM at St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, 935 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ. Interment will follow in Moravian Cemetery, 2205 Richmond Rd., Staten Island, NY. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in the memory of Cheryl to the American Cancer Society, 801 Broad St., Shrewsbury, NJ 07702, www.cancer.org, and would be greatly appreciated.
