JOSEPH CHARLES MALTA, age 36, of Jackson Twp., NJ, passed away on Thursday, September 14, 2017, in Mount Laurel, NJ. Born in Lakewood Twp., Joseph was a life-long Jackson Twp. resident.
Joseph worked for Simpson and Brown in Perth Amboy, NJ, as a driver for 5 years.
He was predeceased by his Mother, Lucy Ann Malta. He is survived by his Wife, Adrianne
(nee Massaro) Malta; his Father, Charles Malta and his Wife, Maryann of Lakewood Twp.; his Brother, James Malta and his Wife, Suzanne of Brick Twp.; his Sister, Lea Prendergast and her Husband, Sean; his Nephews, Nicholas and Christian Malta of Brick Twp.; his Nieces, Madison and Kaelyn Prendergast of Jackson Twp. and Ella Massaro of Brick Twp.; his Step-son, Preston Caldwell; his Step-brother, Dave Kennedy and his Wife, Alison; and by his Step-sisters, Amy Schwertheim and her Husband, Ted of Brick Twp. and Ashley Reilly and her Husband, Jamie of Brick Twp.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his visitation on Sunday, September 17, 2017, from 1-5 PM followed by his Funeral Ceremony at 4:30 PM at the GEORGE S. HASSLER FUNERAL HOME, 980 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ 08527. A private cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in the honor of Preston to Autism Speaks, 1060 State Road, 2nd Floor, Princeton, NJ 08540, www.autismspeaks.org and would be greatly appreciated.
