Obituary for Richard Bonnet

RICHARD BONNET, of Howell Twp., NJ, passed away on Friday, September 1, 2017, at Meridian Nursing and Rehabilitation at Shrewsbury, Shrewsbury, NJ. He was born in East Orange, NJ, settling in Howell Twp. 41 years ago.
Richard worked in marketing and sales for the Bendix/Honeywell Corporation in Eatontown, NJ, for 35 years before his retirement. In addition, he also worked for Weichert Realtors in Freehold, NJ, for 25 years.
He proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean War, receiving the Good Conduct Medal and the National Defense Service Medal.
Richard lived life to the fullest and considered his family as his greatest joy.
Richard was predeceased by his Parents, Charles and Edythe Bonnet; and by his Wife, Doris Bonnet in 2001. He is survived by his Son and Daughter-in-law, Jeffrey and Carrie Bonnet of Harleysville, PA; his Daughters and Sons-in-law, Jacqueline and John McLaughlin of Tinton Falls, NJ, Tricia and Jack Reese of Trappe, PA, and Dana and Carl Herbert of Toms River, NJ; his Grandchildren, Dani and Matthew McLaughlin, Andrew and Cameron Reese, Miranda, Oliva and Jayson Bonnet, and Brooke and Christopher Herbert; and by his Great Granddaughter, Amellia Kapusta.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his visitation on Wednesday, September 6, 2017, from 2-4 PM & 7-9 PM at the GEORGE S. HASSLER FUNERAL HOME, 980 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ 08527. A funeral gathering will be offered on Thursday, September 7, 2017, at 9:00 AM at the funeral home. His Funeral Ceremony will follow at 10:30 AM at Old Tennent Presbyterian Church, 448 Tennent Rd., Tennent, NJ. Interment with military honors will follow in Old Tennent Cemetery, Tennent, NJ.
