EDNA L. HICKEY, 99, of Jackson Twp., NJ, passed away on Monday, July 31, 2017, at Bartley Healthcare, Jackson Twp., NJ. She was born in Newark, NJ, and resided in Linden, NJ, and Hazlet, NJ, prior to settling in Jackson Twp.
Prior to her retirement, Edna was employed as a Bank Teller for Community Bank, Linden, NJ.
She was a communicant of St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, Jackson Twp., NJ.
Edna was predeceased by her Parents, Henry and Mae Linhoff; her Husband, John E. Hickey in 1970; and by her Son, Donald Hickey in 2013. She is survived by her Son, John Hickey and his Wife, Diane of Jackson Twp., NJ; her Daughter, Linda Hall and her Husband, Herbert of Grand Isle, NY; her 5 Grandchildren, Kenneth, Jason, Michelle, Kevin, and Keith; and by her 8 Great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her visitation from 9-10 AM followed by her Funeral Service at 10 AM on Thursday, August 3, 2017, at the GEORGE S. HASSLER FUNERAL HOME, 980 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ 08527. Interment will follow in St. Gertrude’s Cemetery, 53 Inman Ave., Colonia, NJ 07067.
