DOMINIK KACZANOWSKI, 95, of Jackson Twp., NJ, passed away on Wednesday, July 26, 2017, at his son’s home in Brick, NJ. He was born in Warsaw, Poland, and resided in Brooklyn, NY, prior to settling in Jackson Twp., 43 years ago.
Dominik worked as a Mason in North Jersey for 50 years, retiring in 1985.
He was a member of the Polish American Club.
Dominik was predeceased by his Wife, Elwira Kaczanowski in 2007; his Son, Robert Kaczanowski in 2016; and by his Daughter, Mary Pavelka in 2015. He is survived by his Son, Leonard Kaczanowski and his Wife, Rose of Brick, NJ; his 6 Grandchildren; his 6 Great grandchildren; and by his Great great grandchild.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his visitation from 5-8 PM on Monday, July 31, 2017, at the GEORGE S. HASSLER FUNERAL HOME, 980 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ 08527. A funeral gathering will be offered at 7:30 AM on Tuesday, August 1, 2017, at the funeral home. His Funeral Liturgy will follow at 9:00 AM at St. Dominic’s Roman Catholic Church, 250 Old Squan Rd., Brick, NJ 08724. Entombment will follow in Ocean County Memorial Park, 1722 Silverton Rd., Toms River, NJ 08753.
