Obituary for Madeline Burton (Adinolfe)

Madeline Burton (Adinolfe)
MADELINE PRATT BURTON (nee Adinolfe), passed away April 23, 2017, at Meadow View Nursing and Respiratory Care Center, Williamstown, NJ.
An inspiration to all who knew her, Madeline suffered from polio and at 6 months old was left without the use of her legs. Doctors said she would not live past 10 years old, but with the love of her family and friends, especially her mother, Madeline surpassed all expectations by being home schooled, graduating from Dickinson High School then receiving her bachelor's degree in psychology from Long Island University.
She found the love of her life, Wayne, whom she married at a ceremony at the care center where they lived.
She loved angels, the color pink, and jewelry, especially the pieces she bought from home shopping channels.
She especially cherished her family, who will always be in awe of her strength and determination, never complaining about her challenges. She always will be remembered for her kind heart and feisty attitude.
She is predeceased by her parents, Ralph and Antoinette Adinolfe, Sr. She is survived by her loving husband, Wayne Burton; her brothers, Ralph Adinolfe, Jr. (Shelly) and Alan Adinolfe (Ida); and her sister, Janet Brennan (Thomas). She is also survived by two nieces, two nephews, two great nephews and one great niece.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her visitation from 4-8 PM on Thursday, April 27, 2017, at the GEORGE S. HASSLER FUNERAL HOME, 980 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ 08527. A funeral gathering will be offered at 8:30 AM on Friday, April 28, 2017, at the funeral home. Her Funeral Liturgy will follow at 9:30 AM at St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, 935 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ 08527. Entombment will follow in Whitemarsh Memorial Park, 1169 Limekiln Pike, Ambler, PA 19002. If so desired, contributions may be made in Madeline’s memory to Deborah Hospital Foundation, P.O.
