Martin  Pereira
MARTIN PEREIRA, 80, of Howell Twp., NJ, passed away on Friday, April 7, 2017, at home. He was born in Manhattan, NY, and resided in Howell Twp. for the past 50 years.
Martin was employed as the Vice President of IT for Houbigant, Ridgefield, NJ, for 40 years prior to his retirement 10 years ago.
He was a Communicant of the Church of St. Veronica, Howell Twp., NJ, where he was a member of the church choir.
Martin was predeceased by his Parents, Frank and Catherine Pereira. He is survived by his Wife of 61 years, Joan Pereira of Howell Twp., NJ; his Sons, Vincent Pereira and his Wife, Mary Lou of Howell Twp., NJ, Joseph Pereira of Jackson Twp., NJ, and Ed Pereira of Howell Twp., NJ; his Daughters, Catherine Pereira Japngie of Jackson Twp., NJ, Theresa McCauley and her Husband, Jim of New Hampshire, Joanne Dryka and her Husband, Ed of Georgia, Margaret Paquette and her Husband, Chris of New Hampshire, Patricia Foti and her Husband, Michael of Robbinsville, NJ, and Debbie Cairns and her Husband, James of Jackson Twp., NJ; his Brother, John Pereira of South Dakota; his Sister Fran Howard of Minnesota; his 15 Grandchildren; and by his 2 Great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his visitations from 7-9 PM on Monday, April 10, 2017, and from 2-4 & 7-9 PM on Tuesday, April 11, 2017, at the GEORGE S. HASSLER FUNERAL HOME, 980 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ 08527. A funeral gathering will be offered at 8:45 AM on Wednesday, April 12, 2017, at the funeral home. His Funeral Liturgy will follow at 10 AM at the Church of St. Veronica, 4215 Rt. 9 North, Howell Twp., NJ 07731. Entombment will follow in ST. Mary’s Cemetery, 1 Honey Locust Dr., Lakewood Twp., NJ 08701. If so desired, contributions may be made in Martin’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942 and would be greatly appreciated.
