Obituary for Michael Hancock
MICHAEL HANCOCK, 65, of Jackson Twp., NJ, passed away on Monday, March 6, 2017. He was born in Utica, IL, and resided in Somerset, NJ, before moving to Jackson 28 years ago.
Michael was employed as a project/program manager at IBM, Middletown, NJ, for 10 years, retiring in 2010. Prior to that, he was employed at AT&T, also in Middletown, for 25 years.
He was a Communicant of St. Mary of the Lake Roman Catholic Church in Lakewood, NJ.
He was predeceased by his Parents, Robert and Jacqueline Hancock. He is survived by his Wife of 33 years, Eileen Hancock; his Daughter, Meghan Rathjen and her Husband, Peter of Tinton Falls, NJ; his Brother, Timothy Hancock of Tucson, AZ; his Sisters, Patty Mueller of Colorado, and Erin Lysy and her Husband, Mark of Hamilton Square, NJ.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his Memorial Gathering on Sunday, March 19, 2017, from 10 AM – 12 Noon with his Memorial Service at 11:00 AM at the George S. Hassler Funeral Home. 980 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ 08527. Memorial contributions may be made in Michael’s memory to the American Cancer Society, 2310 Route 34, Suite 1D, Manasquan, NJ 08736.
