Jeanne M.  Lauffer (DuPuis)
JEANNE M. LAUFFER (JEANNE M. DuPUIS), of Jackson Twp., NJ, and The Villages, FL, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Sunday, March 5, 2017. Jeanne was born in Teaneck, NJ, and lived in Bergen County most of her life.
She worked as an aid in the Ridgewood school system for many years in the Hawes School. She was a former member of the Eastern Star in Ridgewood, NJ.
She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to know her.
She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Frederick A. Lauffer; her two children, Richard J. Lauffer and his Wife, Jacqueline and Laura J. Saltamach and her Husband, Mark; her two grandchildren, Justin and Jessica Saltalamacchia; her brother and sister-in-law, Warren and Audrey Lauffer of Syracuse, NY; and her sister-in-law, Barbara Bourassa of Paramus, NJ.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her visitation on Friday, March 10, 2017, from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the George S. Hassler Funeral Home, 980 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ 08527. A funeral gathering will be offered at 9:30 AM on Saturday, March 11, 2017, at the funeral home. Her funeral service will follow at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Entombment will follow in George Washington Memorial Park, 234 Paramus Rd., Paramus, NJ. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Jeanne to the American Heart Association, PO Box 417005, Boston, MA 02241.
