Obituary for Susan A. Termine (Higgins)
SUSAN A. TERMINE, age 62, of Howell Twp., NJ, passed away on Saturday, March 4, 2017, at CentraState Medical Center in Freehold Twp., NJ. She was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, settling in Howell Twp. 34 years ago.
Susan worked for the Monmouth-Ocean Educational Services Commission (MOESC) in Tinton Falls, NJ, as a secretary for many years before retiring.
Susan was a long-time communicant of The Church of St. Veronica in Howell Twp.
Susan is survived by her husband of 38 years, Robert Termine; her children, Paul Termine of Howell Twp. and Katie Termine of Bayonne, NJ; her parents, Henry and Elizabeth Higgins; her sisters and brother-in-law, Kathy and P.J. Diskin of Mineola, NY, and MaryBeth Higgins of Oyster Bay, NY; her brother and sister-in-law, Kevin and Mary Higgins of Summit, NJ; and by her numerous nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her visitation on Tuesday, March 7, 2017, from 4-8 PM at the George S. Hassler Funeral Home, 980 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ 08527. A funeral gathering will be offered on Wednesday, March 8, 2017, at 8:15 AM at the funeral home. Her Funeral Liturgy will follow at 9:30 AM at The Church of St. Veronica, 4215 Route 9 North, Howell Twp., NJ. Interment will follow in St. Mary of the Lake Cemetery, Honey Locust Drive, Lakewood Twp., NJ. If so desired, memorial contributions may be made in the name of Susan to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, https://pulmonaryfibrosis.donorpages.com/Tribute/SusanTermine.
