Obituary for Rosanna Callahan
ROSANNA CALLAHAN, age 84, of Jackson Twp., NJ passed away on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at Bella Terra Assisted Living in Jackson Twp. Rosanna was born in New York, and had resided in Piscataway, NJ before settling in Jackson Twp. 2 years ago.
Rosanna was a communicant of St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church in Jackson Twp.
Rosanna was predeceased by her husband, Tom Callahan in 1999 and by her son, Thomas Callahan. She is survived by her son and daughters-in-law, Steven and Mary Pat Callahan of Jackson Twp., NJ and Sandra Callahan of Howell Twp., NJ; and by her grandchildren, Tommy, Bobby, Taylor, Steven and Charlie.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her visitation on Monday, March 6, 2017 from 5-9 PM at The George S. Hassler Funeral Home, 980 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ. A funeral gathering will be offered on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at 8:30 AM at the funeral home. Her Funeral Liturgy will follow at 9:30 AM at St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, 935 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ. Interment will follow in The Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 350 Province Line Rd., Arneytown, NJ. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in the memory of Rosanna to the Alzheimer’s Association, Central N.J. Chapter, 400 Morris Ave., Suite 251, Denville, NJ 07834-1365, www.alz.org, or to the Lustgarten Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research,1111 Stewart Ave., Beth Page, N.Y. 11714, www.lustgarten.org.
