Obituary for Ann M. Schwartz (Nasto)
ANN M. SCHWARTZ, 91, of Jackson Twp., NJ, passed away on Monday, January 30, 2017, at Bella Terra, Jackson Twp., NJ. She was born in Jersey City, NJ, and resided in Jackson Twp., NJ, most of her life.
Ann was employed as an Inventory Management Specialist for the Department of Defense, Fort Monmouth, for 14 years, retiring in 1993. Prior to that, she was employed for 30 years with Nasto Family Enterprise, Nasto Realty Investments, Jackson Twp., NJ.
She was a communicant of St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, Jackson Twp., NJ, and she was a member of the St. Ann’s Core Community NARFE.
Ann loved to cook, read, and travel. More than anything she loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was loved by all and will be greatly missed.
She was predeceased by her Parents, Vincenzo and Anna Nasto; her Husband, Joseph P. Schwartz; her Daughter, JoAnn Schwartz; her Brothers, Vincent Nasto and Frank Nasto; and by her Sister-in-law, Ercille Nasto. Ann is survived by her Son, Vincent Schwartz and his Wife, Rose of Jackson Twp., NJ; her Daughter, Connie Aitken and her Husband, Richard of Jackson Twp., NJ; her 4 Grandchildren, Vincent Schwartz, Jr. and his Wife, Corinne of Manchester, NJ, Kayla Schwartz of Jackson Twp., NJ, Kristen Marie Cherry and her Husband, Robert of Whiting, NJ, and Richard Aitken and his Wife, Carly of Jackson Twp., NJ; her 7 Great grandchildren, Robert, Madeline, Annabella, Lilyana, Zachary, Abigail, and Aubrey; and by her many beloved Nieces and Nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her visitation from 2-4 and 7-9 PM on Friday, February 3, 2017, at the GEORGE S. HASSLER FUNERAL HOME, 980 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ 08527. A funeral gathering will be offered at 9:00 AM on Saturday, February 4, 2017, at the funeral home. Her Funeral Liturgy will follow at 10:00 AM at St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, 935 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ 08527. A private cremation will follow.
