Obituary for Edith Curran
EDITH CURRAN, 96, of Jackson Twp., NJ, passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2017, at Bartley Healthcare, Jackson Twp., NJ. She was born in New York City, NY, and resided in Jackson Twp., NJ, for several years.
Edith was a Teletype Operator for U.S. Steel, New York City, NY, retiring in 1982.
She was a graduate of Julia Richman High School, Manhattan, NY.
Edith was predeceased by her Mother, Irene Curran; her Brothers, Gerald Curran, Russell Curran, Wallace Curran, and John Curran; her Sisters, Margaret Curran, and Gloria Curran. She is survived by her Sister, Marilyn Maldonado of Jackson Twp. NJ; her 11 Nieces and Nephews; her 17 Great Nieces and Nephews; and by her 6 Great great Nieces and Nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her visitation from 3-7 PM on Wednesday, January 11, 2017, with her funeral service at 6 PM at the GEORGE S. HASSLER FUNERAL HOME, 980 Bennetts Mills Rd. Jackson Twp., NJ 08527. A private cremation will follow. If so desired, contributions may be made in Edith’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942 and would be greatly appreciated.
