Obituary for Andrew Borbotko, Sr.
ANDREW BORBOTKO, SR., 84, of Jackson Twp., NJ, passed away on Wednesday, December 7, 2016, at Wayne Memorial Hospital, Honesdale, PA. He was born and raised in Howell Twp., NJ, and resided there before moving to Jackson 40 years ago.
He was the owner and operator of Andrew’s Beauty Shop and Sportsman’s Shanty in Jackson for 40 years. Andrew was a communicant of St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church in Jackson.
He proudly served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War.
He was predeceased by his Parents, Afwanas and Lydai Borbotko; and his Wife, Beatrice in March of 2016. He is survived by his Sons, Andrew Borbotko, Jr. and his Wife, Stanislawa of Jackson, NJ, and Gary Borbotko of Jackson; his 5 Grandchildren; his 2 Step grandchildren; and by his 11 Great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his visitation on Sunday, December 11, 2016, from 1-5 PM at the GEORGE S. HASSLER FUNERAL HOME, 980 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ 08527. A funeral gathering will offered at 8:30 AM on Monday, December 12, 2016, at the funeral home. His Funeral Liturgy will follow at 9:30 AM at St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, 935 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson, NJ. A private cremation will follow. If so desired, contributions may be made in Andrew’s memory to St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, PO Box 1285, Jackson Twp., NJ 08527 and would be greatly appreciated.
