Obituary for Paul William Fries
PAUL WILLIAM FRIES, 98, of Jackson Twp., NJ, passed away on Tuesday, November 22, 2016, at Sunrise of Jackson, Jackson Twp., NJ. He was born in Newark, NJ, and resided in Springfield, NJ, prior to settling in Jackson Twp., NJ, 8 months ago.
Paul worked in magazine distribution retiring in 1983.
He was a United States Army Veteran, serving in the Pacific Theater during World War II.
Paul was predeceased by his Parents, Paul and Mary Fries; his brothers, Martin and Edward; his Sister, Dorothy; and by his Wife of 69 years, Tessie Fries. He is survived by his Sons, Paul Fries and his Wife, Suely of Jackson Twp. NJ, and Stephen Fries and his Wife, Linda of Ringoes, NJ; his Grandchildren, Melissa Riehman and her Husband, Kenneth, Brian Fries and his Wife, Lauren, Christie Fries, Michael Fries, and Mackenzie Fries; and by his Great grandchildren, Christopher Riehman, Kevin Riehman, and Jacob Riehman.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his visitation from 4-8 PM on Friday, November 25, 2016, at the GEORGE S. HASSLER FUNERAL HOME, 980 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ 08527. A funeral gathering will be offered at 9:30 AM on Saturday, November 26, 2016, followed by his Funeral Service at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, 1 Honey Locust Dr., Lakewood, NJ 08701.
