Obituary for Alexander E. Kovacs

ALEXANDER E. KOVACS, 88, of Jackson Twp., NJ, passed away on Saturday, October 15, 2016, at home. Alexander was born in New Brunswick, NJ, and resided in Highland Park, NJ, prior to settling in Jackson Twp. 32 years ago.
Alexander was a machinist for Lionel Trains, Newark, NJ, retiring after 32 years of service.
He was a United States Airforce veteran serving as a PFC 1st Class.
Alexander loved fishing.
He was predeceased by his Parents, Alexander and Barbara Kovacs; his Sister, Mary Livingston; and by his Nephew, Julius Livingston. He is survived by his Wife of 22 years, Rosemarie Kovacs of Jackson Twp., NJ; his Daughter, Louann Crawford of Freehold, NJ; his 2 Grandchildren, Sandra and James Crawford; and by his Nieces, Barbara Livingston, and Alexandria Monus.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his visitation on Wednesday, October 19, 2016, from 5-8 PM at the GEORGE S. HASSLER FUNERAL HOME, 980 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ 08527. A funeral gathering will be offered on Thursday, October 20, 2016 at 9:15 AM at the funeral home. A committal service with military honors will follow at 10:30 AM in Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 350 Provinceline Rd., Arneytown, NJ 08562. If so desired, contributions may be made in Alexander’s memory to the American Kidney Fund, 11921 Rockville Pike, Suite 300, Rockville, MD 20852 and would be greatly appreciated.
