The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Arthur Wojciechowski can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence From: Ellen Marcus Cuzzi
Condolence: My deepest condolences to the family of Arthur Wojciechowski, one of the kindest teachers I have ever known. He brought it to a different level at a time when not many did. We were so fortunate to have him with us in Calvin Coolidge. He made us work but he made us laugh, and always extra credit on a tough test for properly spelling his name! Such fond memories of a great man and wonderful teacher! Prayers to all of you.

Condolence: My heart goes out to the family of one of the finest people I know. Mr Wojciechowski made a huge impression on everyone he knew, with his humor, his kindness and love for his profession. I doubt he knew just how many students adored him , and he made such an impression on them that we all remember him to this day with such fond memories . Few teachers leave you with that for the rest of your lives. Sending a farewell with love and honor to one of my favorite teachers of all time from Calvin Coolidge School.

Condolence: Growing up, you never realize the impact some folks had on your growth and development. I was twelve, maybe thirteen when I attended Mr. Wojciechowski's seventh-grade class at Calvin Coolidge. He was one of the few teachers with whom I truly respected. He made a difference in my life and for that, I will forever be grateful. It was my privilege and honor to have known him. My thoughts and prayers are with his family as I am certain they feel the loss of his passing.

Condolence: Dear Family,
I was a student in Art's first class. We spent 7th grade together at Calvin Coolidge. W has always been my favorite teacher. Everyday was a new adventure. Learning was always fun. Especially when we all had to learn the Wojciechowski spelling song! I may not remember how to spell anything else...Wojciechowski I will NEVER forget.
When Art Jr. was still little, I came to the house to babysit. Mrs. Wojciechowski was expecting at the time and had to stay in bed. I loved being "part of the family" for a little while.
Art will live on in my heart with the fondest of memories.
We are all so blessed to know him.

Condolence: To the children & grandchildren of "Mr. Wojciechowski"

Your father/grandfather was my 7th grade (1963) teacher at Calvin Coolidge School in Hillside NJ. I believe my class was his first teaching assignment. He is remembered as a kind hearted, caring teacher with a wonderful sense a humor. He tried to have a few of us take riding lessons with a horse he owned in Old Bridge! I was saddened to see that you lost him at an early age. Cherish the memories and know that your father/grandfather left a lasting impact with many young people. May he RIP.

Condolence: To Art's family and loved ones, My deepest condolences to you all. I loved nothing more than playing horseshoes with Art, his partner in crime, Niel, and the rest of the Jost horseshoe pitchers at Jost's. Art always made me laugh and enjoy the day, whether it was 30 degrees out or 90, he will be missed, but not forgotten.

Take Care,
Dave Samler
