Obituary for Stanley William "Stan/Stosh" England

STANLEY (Stan/Stosh) WILLIAM ENGLAND, 82, of Jackson Twp., NJ, passed away on Thursday, February 4, 2016 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Twp., NJ. He was born in Flushing, NY, and resided in Manalapan, NJ, prior to settling in Jackson Twp., NJ, 14 years ago.
Stanley was employed as a Forester for Bell Laboratory in NY and Holmdel, NJ, for 10 Years, and more recently for Jersey Central Power and Light, also for 10 years, retiring in 1993.
He received a degree in Ornamental Horticulture from Farmingdale College, Long Island, NY.
Staley was a member of Hope Lutheran Church, Freehold Twp., NJ, the Black Knights Bow Benders Archery Club, Jackson Twp., NJ, and was an Instructor for the NJ Fish, Game, and Wildlife.
He is a United States Army Veteran, where he served as a Cpl. during the Korean War.
Stanley was predeceased by his Parents, Stanley and Mildred England. He is survived by his Wife of 58 years, Barbara England of Jackson Twp., NJ; his Son, Richard England and his Wife, Susan of Jackson Twp., NJ; his Daughter, Susan Lutz and her Husband, Mark of Kendall Park, NJ; his Brother Edward England and his Wife, Diana of Lancaster, PA; and by his 3 Grandchildren, Peyton Lutz, Kyle England, and Erika England.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his visitation on Monday, February 8, 2016, from 4-8 PM with his Funeral Service at 7:30 PM, with the Rev. Dr. Patricia S. Medley of the Hope Lutheran Church, Freehold Twp., NJ, officiating at the GEORGE S. HASSLER FUNERAL HOME, 980 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ. A private cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Stanley’s memory to the Paralyzed Veterans of America, 801 18th St. NW, Washington, DC 20006-3517 and would be greatly appreciated.
