KATHRYN QUINN, 83, of Howell Twp., NJ, passed away on Friday, February 6, 2014, at home. Kathryn was born in the Bronx, NY, and resided in Jackson Twp., NJ, for 30 years, and in The Villages, FL, for 16 years, before settling in Howell Twp., 3 years ago.
Kathryn was employed as a Kindergarten Teacher for Sylvia Rosenauer Elementary School in Jackson for 28 years before her retirement in 1995.
She was predeceased by her Parents, George and Elizabeth Gallagher; her Husband, James P. Quinn, Sr. in 2011; and her Son, William Quinn in 1979. She is survived by her Sons and Daughters-in-law, Thomas J. and Tricia Quinn of Howell, and Dr. James and Kelly Quinn, Jr. of Howell; her Daughters, Elizabeth O’Hara and her Husband, Frank, of Brentwood, TN, and Jeanne Quinn of Jackson; her Grandchildren, Meghan, Jaclyn, Meredith, William, Brian, Bridget, Carly, Kelsey, Kiera, Erin, James, Allison, and Jack; and her Sisters, Elizabeth Bolin and Alice Connors, both of the Bronx, NY.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her visitation from 1-5 PM on Sunday, February 8, 2015, at THE GEORGE S. HASSLER FUNERAL HOME, 980 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ 08527. A funeral gathering will be offered at 8:30 AM on Monday, February 9, 2015, at the funeral home. Her funeral liturgy will follow at 9:30 AM at St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, 935 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, 1 Honey Locust Dr., Lakewood, NJ 08701.
